On April 20, 2010, the very day of our nation's biggest environmental catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico, students from Witt Seminar and DeWitt Clinton High School had the opportunity to create an original music video with the help of the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus. Two students, Riqui and Brittany, worked in spoken word poems they had already created and performed at a benefit for Behind the Book held at the Bowery Poetry Club earlier in the year. The music, the verses, the background vocals (supplied by DNA) were all created on the spot with the help of the John Lennon crew.

Our goal is to build a healthier community by integrating, educating and serving students and community members, especially low income and marginalized people, in collaboration with numerous partner organizations with common interests.
